Elsie-Escobar-Interview

Elsie Escobar is the host of Elsie’s Yoga Class Live podcast and might be better known to podcasters as the host of The Feed, the official Libsyn podcast. She’s the Social Media Community Manager at Libsyn, and is a true podcasting pioneer. As one of the first women to host a yoga podcast waaaaaayyyyy back in 2006, she’s seen and experienced a lot in this world. I was pretty excited to snag this interview and her passion for podcasting comes through loud and clear on this Elsie Escobar interview. I can’t think of a better spokesperson. Listen closely for the guest appearance by Elsie’s daughter! Elsie’s enthusiasm is contagious, enjoy!

Outro Music

The Notwist – are a German indie Rock band. Formed in 1989, the band moved through several musical incarnations despite maintaining a relatively stable lineup. While their early records moved through heavy metal into dark indie rock, their latest have been strongly influenced by the electronica scene. I highly recommend picking up their latest LP ‘Close to the Glass’ if you are a fan of Radiohead, TV on the Radio and strangely enough I hear some hints of Belle and Sebastian and Elliot Smith on some tracks. Beautiful record from start to finish that I have been enjoying thoroughly. Here’s the title track “Close to the Glass”. -Cedar & Soil

Great episode Harry. I’m like you and I can listen to Elsie talk about podcasting all day long. She is so bright and bubbly. And to answer her question – Yes! I definitely would podcast if there were no iTunes. I’m on Spreaker, Audioboo, Mixclound, SoundCloud and anywhere else I can find to upload my show. Cheers!

Hey Ileane, appreciate the comments. Elsie definitely provides a unique perspective, given her years in the trenches. I’m sure she would appreciate your response! I gotta expand my show to Spreaker + Audioboo as well, thanks for the reminder!
